Patterns of evolution are also called “soul families” by Hans Tendam Strive in his book “Deep Healing”. Soul family is a name given to various kinds of souls that, before Earth and the earthly incarnation, lived in well-differentiated states of the human state. They are different lines or areas experience in the Universe, each one with its peculiarities. When they are found in Past Life Therapy, they show a lot of difficulty to be here and accept their own body. They feel trapped and confined, they stand to be here.
Tendam says that is so hard to determine classifications of multiples patterns of evolution before incarnation on Earth, it can’t categorize everything. But as we study a lot of sources, we can deal with unexpected and weird circumstances as we know. Thus, the different types of soul, as Tendam says, may have concerns, sensibilities, attitudes, primary traumas, self images, different from ours and from themselves. In Past Life Therapy, to understand and treat many types of patterns of evolution, it is important asking person to go to the origin of the feeling that makes her refuse the body, human life and the difficulty of adapting to the current standard.
Tendam says that “There was a time where we had the human conscious. There was an initial time in a human body. These moments can’t be overlooked. There was also a beginning in us as individual soul. This moment may have happened long ago”. Most souls embodied in the human state long time ago, that’s why they are more or less adjusted to common life. Souls that originated in other fields or universes of evolution may face serious barriers in dealing with the limitations of the gross. Let’s see one possible classification of the main families of soul found in the work of Tendam:
FAMILY ONE: self-conscious, physical: extraterrestrial.
Human extraterrestrials: This family belongs to extraterrestrials with human bodies, such as ours. Some aliens voluntarily incarnated on Earth and since then they enter the wheel of births and deaths here. Other aliens have come exiles from other physical orbs, because of punishments or education, says Tendam. While some have come exiles from other physical orbs, others came on a mission, they are called missionaries. They come to fulfill some task, but end up entangled here for fail and for generating negative karma with sufficient force to hold them here. These beings can feel great distaste for the planet and want to leave here as soon as possible. They can also have serious problems adjusting to Earth standards. They feel strange, weird, prisoners and that their home isn’t here.
Tendam seeks to restore the first sense when they arrived here and the emotion associated with the fact of belonging to the primitive planet. Tendam classifies these aliens in various kinds:
1) Taxpayers free: those who came to give some contribution.
2) Taxpayers tangles: those who came to give some contribution and entangled, or imprisoned on Earth.
3) For their own development: those who came to develop or improve some imperfect aspect of themselves.
4) With aggressive intentions: those who came with aggressive intentions, such as anger of planets and inferior beings, or domination of a human group.
1) Lost: those who came here and couldn’t find the path of return, staying earthbound.
2) Exiles: see text “Exiles” from this site.
3) Shipwrecked: those who fell here and didn’t return.
1) These are the beings that come from others orbs, who had a body entirely different from today. These aliens, as Tendam says “They don’t have any problems with the fact of being inside a body, but the fact of being in body structured differently. Feel that their body is wrong, they feel strange. They are so far away from their home. They feel alienated”.
FAMILY TWO: self conscious and without previous body: spirits
Those who live in this planet (nature spirits): We have already mentioned spirits of nature and its main features in the entry elements. They have the power to influence the nature. They are forces acting on it and members of the environment. They are ethereal beings and are accustomed to freedom and no limits. For them it is weird to eat, urinate and defecate. There is a group that avoid humans and other that seeks this company. They feel limited being inside a body. Tendam speaks about five types:
1) Those who live within and below the ground (like dwarves): This kind seems to measure 30 or 40 inches. They live in groups and diligently. Just turn their attention to men when they do something in the soil. It is rare transition to human.
2) Those who live in the soil (browns, spirits returning to home)
3) Spirits of the lower nature (on soil and water, like elves)
4) Spirits of the air (Above ground)
5) Devas (spirits of places, from below the ground to high in the air)
The above are spirits of nature who live on Earth and are associated with the phenomena of nature, but there are two other categories:
Those who live in a place that it isn’t a physical planet: These are beings who live in psychosphere that is not physical. But, as Tendam says, its contours are similar to Earth, as well as their social organization. However, it isn’t a place composed of physical matter. Although they have no body, isn’t new to them some kind of social structure. The biggest problem is the matter, because of its limitations. There is no money, food and drink, although there is communication, power and influence. Tendam associates these beings to what Goldberg called “light people”. Goldberg was the first to describe light people: “These souls live in a world of points, planes or bright structures, of geometry and music”. The reports of Helen Wambach also identify these “geometric beings”, such as the experience of some psychics, clairvoyants, mediums and projectors.
Those who live in a spiritual cosmos: These beings don’t have physical body in their lifetimes, and, unlike the previous, they don’t have an individual conscience or a social organization. Tendam defines them as: “Many grew and developed slowly in a shimmering primal broth to be gradually awakened”. Were these beings born directly from a universal primordial essence?
FAMILY THREE: Without self conscious and physical before: evolved mammals.
These are immigrants whose lives had a quality and pristine nature and even like animals. They are primates hunters from the Stone Age, such as gorillas and chimpanzees. Tendam says that only found gorillas in his research. There are also monkeys and dolphins. Although it’s difficult a transition from dolphins to humans, it happens sometimes. A transition from primates or evolved mammals to humans can be painful for them, because they have a rudimentary conscious, without intellect and self conscious.
FAMILY FOUR: Without self conscious and physical before: beginners.
It is hard to find these beings in Past Life Therapy. These spirits, if we can call them this way, were formed by a whole of souls or by a general mental mass. They don’t have individuality, or have very little. Most likely they have created their individuality when they embody. It’s hard to develop self awareness. It can be painful for them. Tendam says that a “shock of self conscious” may happen – which can cause trauma, because the soul had never experienced individuality. Before the first incarnation on Earth, we can find only a “pale feeling of being here”. A rudimentary sense of existence and reality. The goal is helping people to understand and situate themselves. It is done by taking them to life before Earth and understanding why they embodied. The lords of karma can be questioned.
